Extraction of All Teeth

Removal of all remaining teeth may be necessary for those patients experiencing:

  • pain
  • repeated infections
  • an overall unrestorable dentition

Dentures are an option, however they do not function nearly as well as our existing teeth. Many complaints about dentures include:

  • compromised ability to chew
  • loose fitting dentures
  • dentures may not allow a person to eat foods previously enjoyed
  • high maintenance and care is necessary

It is important to recognize there is a treatment option available that will allow a person to regain the ability to effectively chew as if you had your own, natural teeth. This option involves the placement of implants. Even a minimal amount of implant support can provide a dramatic improvement in chewing ability.

Please view the videos below to better understand the implant option and the possible consequences of missing teeth.
